
A man believed to be in his 30s has tragically been found dead in stagnant water in Juaboso, located in the Western North Region.
Reports indicate that the man, identified as Mawuli, had left his home approximately two days ago, after which he was not seen again until his body was discovered.
On Tuesday afternoon, a group of children fishing by the water made the grim discovery of his lifeless body, found face down in a pool of stagnant water.
Community members familiar with Mawuli reported that he had previously suffered injuries from an accident, which affected one of his arms.

Although he worked as a mason, he was regarded as a stranger, and little is known about his family background.
The body has been taken to the mortuary at Juaboso Government Hospital for preservation and further investigation.
This comes after the body of an unidentified man was sighted floating in a stream at Kings Down, a suburb within the Oforikrom municipality in the Ashanti Region, on Wednesday morning, June 4, 2025.
It is believed the deceased was swept away following the heavy rains on either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
Residents who discovered the lifeless body floating in the water got scared, sending an alarm to others to help retrieve the body.
