A tragic incident unfolded at Mile 11 in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, where a 33-year-old man named Samuel Yeboah was fatally stabbed with a pair of scissors.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the altercation took place on Monday, June 30, 2025, following a heated dispute between Yeboah and his Nigerian co-tenant, Emeka Buchi.
Reports indicate that Buchi called upon her children during the argument, who arrived with a group of nine unidentified individuals. This group then launched a brutal attack on Yeboah, resulting in his fatal injuries.
Despite being rushed to Finney Hospital, he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival.
A resident named Ayisha, who helped transport Yeboah to the hospital, shared that this incident stemmed from an earlier conflict where Buchi had allegedly threatened Yeboah multiple times.
Currently, three suspects, including Buchi’s daughter and sister, have been arrested, while two more remain on the run.
The brutal nature of this murder has ignited anger among the local youth of Mile 11, prompting them to issue a firm warning to authorities.
They have expressed their determination to take matters into their own hands if prompt action is not taken to ensure justice is served.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been conveyed to the mortuary while investigations continue.
