Fire ravages Lucky Herbal Centre at Kasoa

A devastating fire has ravaged the Lucky Herbal Centre branch at Kasoa in the Central Region.
The unfortunate incident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025.
The inferno is believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder explosion in a room where some occupants were reportedly cooking.
Some eyewitnesses speaking in an interview monitored by The Ghana Report narrated that they saw smoke emanating from one of the rooms on the first floor of the storey building, which quickly spread to offices, including staff accommodation and the TV newsroom.
However, the swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), NADMO, and the police helped to minimise the damage.
The Municipal Fire Commander, ADO II Marcell Kwame Avadu, speaking to the media, advised the public on fire safety and the need to reach out to the appropriate authorities on time when such incidents occur.
The Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Director, Nash Nyamdey, in response, commended the Fire Service for their timely intervention.
He also commiserated with the staff of the facility over their losses due to the fire outbreak.
