John Mahama to Launch NDC Youth Manifesto
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, is set to launch the party’s youth manifesto today, ahead of the December 7 election.
The event at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is part of a series of youth-focused activities to mark the 2024 International Youth Day on August 12.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, the National Youth Organizer, George Opare Addo, explained that the NDC selected this day to reaffirm its dedication to revitalizing Ghana for the younger generation.
Mr. Addo mentioned that the manifesto, titled “The Pledge,” will cover key areas such as health, education, agriculture, ICT, mining, the environment, jobs, inclusive governance, and more.
“We have titled it ‘The Pledge’: thus our promises to Ghanaians which will touch on health, education, agriculture, ICT, mining, environment, jobs, inclusive and good governance among others,” he noted.
He emphasized that the manifesto will highlight Mr. Mahama’s strategies and commitments to empower the youth and tackle the pressing issues they face.
