Kasoa missing girl found in Hohoe

Ethel Faf Ali Tottimeh, a 13-year-old schoolgirl who went missing from her home in Kasoa in the Central Region on August 21, 2024, has been found safe in Hohoe, situated in the Volta Region.

Ethel who speaks Ewe, Twi, and English went missing after she left home for extra classes.

A thorough search by the family and school authorities to find her whereabouts proved futile for days.

However, the widespread sharing of her picture on social media as a missing person brought a breakthrough as a mobile money vendor in Hohoe recognized the young girl after she used his phone to make a call.

The momo vendor then alerted Ethel’s family, providing them with the number the girl had called and the exact location where he had found the girl.

The family then proceeded to Hohoe to meet their daughter and the good Samaritan.

Ethel has since been reunited with her family.
It is still unclear how the little girl managed to move from Kasoa to Hohoe in these few days.

Meanwhile, the family has expressed gratitude to everyone who shared the post and helped in the search for their daughter.
