The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man. He has been identified as Osei Kwame, popularly known as “Nsafufoo.” He was found unlawfully possessing and wearing a police uniform without authorisation.
The suspect was captured in a viral video. He appeared visibly intoxicated while dressed in full police attire. This raised public concern and prompted swift action by the authorities.
The arrest took place at Antoakrom in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region.
According to police sources, Osei Kwame is currently in custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the uniform. They have warned the public against impersonation and the unlawful use of official police regalia.
